Brian Mitchell and his associates have won thousands of settlements on behalf of injured workers and individuals in San Diego and Los Angeles counties over the past eighteen (18) years. A fluent Spanish speaker and native Californian, Brian specializes in Workers’ Compensation with an emphasis in Personal Injury law. He takes great pride in the communities where he practices law, advocating aggressively for the rights of his clients throughout California.
Brian began his career in 1996 as an associate for a San Diego law firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury. He gained valuable experience litigating cases before the San Diego Superior Court and Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Over the course of his career, he has litigated thousands of cases favorably on behalf of his clients throughout Southern California.
He was a senior partner and CEO at The Law Offices of Mitchell & Shea from 1999-2014. In 2015 he branched out, opening up The Mitchell Law Corporation, maintaining offices in San Diego and Los Angeles.
He was admitted to the California State Bar and Federal District Court in 1996, the year he graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. He is an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. In 2003 he became a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation.
In 2004, Brian served as the San Diego Chapter President of the California Applicant Attorneys Association (CAAA). In 2005, he was appointed to a lifetime post on the CAAA Board of Governors.
